4 Homemade Winter Face Packs for Glowing Skin

It is winter, the time of the year where our skin takes a lot of beating. Our skin tends to become cracked, dry, itchy and also patchy. The reduced humidity and dry air are not favorable for the skin.

This is the season where you have to nourish your skin. You have to take the necessary steps to keep it supple and soft. You need not always visit a beauty parlor for this but do it at your home with homemade face packs.

  1. Banana Milk Face Pack: All you need for this is mashed banana and two tablespoons of milk. Mix both of the above ingredients well. Apply it to your face and region. Let it sit for about half an hour. Wash them with warm water. Bananas are rich in potassium and the moisturizes the skin and keeps it soft and supple.
  2. Honey and Carrot Face Pack: Carrots are rich in carotene and vitamin A. We all know honey is loaded with nutrients and it helps nourish the skin. Grate a carrot and extract two tablespoons of juice from it. Mix it along with a tablespoon of honey and apply it to the face and the neck region.
  3. Yogurt and Honey Face Pack: Yogurt is rich with lactic acid and is considered as an exfoliating agent. When combined with honey it makes wonders for our skin. Take equal proportion of yogurt and honey and mix them well and apply to face and neck region. It makes the skin smooth and gives a special glow to it.
  4. Aloe vera and Almond Oil: Aloe vera is an excellent hydration agent and Almond oil is rich in vitamin E which nourishes the skin giving it a smooth. Squeeze some aloe vera juice and mix it with almond oil. Apply it on the face and rinse with warm water after 20 minutes. You can see the difference on your skin by yourself.
